Our nikuman (meat bun), anman (red bean paste buns) and
roll cakes are also delicious.

We were founded in 1994.
It all started when Makoto Yamaguchi, president & CEO, who used to work in the sales of dairy pro-ducts and related equipment such as breast pumps and bulk coolers (milk chillers), opened “Ice no ie” in Naganuma town. It's close to Sapporo and you can also get high quality milk there.

Delicious and healthy soft serve made from freshly squeezed milk and local eggs became very popular as soon as it was released.
Ｗe were also fortunate enough to have the opportunity to appear in the media, so it was a great hit.

However, selling only ice cream results in fewer customers visiting the shop during the winter.
So at first, we made and sold chinese steamed buns, and then we sold sweets such as cream puffs, cakes, and baked goods. Then, we expanded our product line to include cheese, ham and bacon.
We have been visited by many customers who use our products as gifts for special occasions and　holi-days throughout the year.

History of "Ice no ie"

Jul.1994　Established Naganuma-ice, Y.K. (capital: 4 million yen)

　　　　　　Naganuma store was opened

Aug.1994　Started manufacturing and selling ice cream

Dec.1994　Opened the first chain store 【ARCHE branch (currently closed)】

May1995　Built a Naganuma branch which became the head office

Sep.1996　New factory was completed and started manufacturing products

Jul.1997　Changed the company name to Naganuma"アイス"=Ice, Co., Ltd.
　　　　　　Increased the capital to 10 million yen
　　　　　　The head office was newly built (new store and new factory were completed)
　　　　　　Started manufacturing and selling chinese buns

Aug.1997　Started manufacturing and selling ice candy

Sep.1997　Changed the company name to Naganuma"あいす"=Ice, Co,.Ltd

Apr.1998　Started manufacturing and selling drinkable yogurt

Jul.1998　Started manufacturing and selling raw chocolate

Jul.2000　Increased the capital to 30 million yen

Dec.2000　Started manufacturing and selling cream puffs and pudding

Apr.2001　Completed the new factory"RAKUNYUHIN KOUBOU" and started manufacturing dairy products

Jun.2001　Started manufacturing and selling natural cheese and butter

May2002　Started manufacturing and selling raw chocolate (Small bottle of laiterie)
